GIM CONTEXT HAND-STITCHED DAMAGED DENIM KNT JACKET BLUE
The 1st model of Levi's is reproduced in knit. A denim-like fabric is knit, washed, damaged, and hand-stitched to create a very crafty piece. Various cotton yarns, including crisp cotton yarns, cotton slub yarns, and bouclé cotton yarns, are knitted and mixed alternately in a single jacquard weave on the front and back sides to reproduce a twill weave structure. By pulling together slub yarns, we were able to reproduce a marbled look. It is also characterized by its lightweight and smooth feel against the skin.
After the knitted fabric is made, it is washed twice to give it a denim-like feel, and the damaged parts are fastened with a mellow sewing machine to prevent fraying after the damage is done, and then wire brushed on top to reproduce the fluffiness. All stitching is hand-stitched by craftsmen. The red tag on the breast pocket are also handmade crochet. The cinch back detail is also retained.
