BLUE BLUE JAPAN
Blue Blue Japan is the in-house brand of Okura, its flagship store in Shibuya, and has specialized in traditionally made, indigo-dyed products since 1996. The bell adorned tag on each garment marked “Arigato” refers to the philosophy of both Blue Blue and its parent company, Seilin & Co, an intent to bring gratitude and care into the projects they bring forth. Overseen by Kenji Tsuji, the brand embraces the way clothes wear over time — working almost exclusively with plant-based indigo and cutting garments in relaxed patterns intended to gain character with age. A faithful proponent of Japanese heritage, Blue Blue Japan creates comfortable, thoughtful garments that are built to last.
